Supply Chain Development Lead - Fixed Term

Fixed Term vacancy to cover maternity leave - role ends May 2020.
To develop supplier capability and drive continuous improvement within Suppliers, to deliver measurable benefit to Pattonair within the Supply Chain Function.
To be achieved through leading and coaching suppliers to deliver performance improvements (Supplier Gold Standard and / or Zero Defects programmes) into Pattonair.

The Supply Chain Function is the main interface between Pattonair and its customers and suppliers. The department manages customer requirements by driving supplier performance to ensure on time product delivery, enabling Pattonair to be a world class provider. The department has key interfaces with the Sales, Strategic Procurement, Operations, Quality and Finance departments.
Key Responsibilities
Build relationships with designated supplier leadership teams to positively influence improvement activities within the supplier and to promote continuous improvement.

Undertake capability and capacity assessments on suppliers and drive subsequent closure of corresponding action plans to reduce overall supplier risk.

Perform risk assessment of supplier capability.

To drive supplier improvement through deployment of supplier charters ensuring activities deliver measurable performance benefits to Pattonair.

Resolution of problems escalated from order book management for critical parts supply.

Facilitator for Supplier Gold standard and Supplier Zero Defects programmes.
