Lead Auditor


We are looking for a Lead Auditor to work at our site on Longbridge Lane, Derby.
Key Responsibilities

This brand new role, brought about by changes to industry standards, will see you lead and conduct audits whilst engaging management in the findings, conclusions and actions, support the drive for continuous improvement. Duties include:

• Plan, lead and execute thorough internal audits
• Prepare audit reports and data to engage the organisation in compliance and process maturity improvement.
• Prepare and deliver summary presentations of findings to management and leadership at all levels of the organisation.
• Undertake customer or other quality/EHS/Business Continuity tasks as required.
• Arrange and host 3rd party audits as required
• Support the delivery of risk assessments that engage the management team to prioritise the audit activities.
• Undertake independent investigations as required.


• Degree (equivalent) qualified with the capability to work towards a recognised professional audit qualification, eg. IRCA, IOSH, IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment), etc.
• Ability to work towards Lead Auditor Registration
• Maintain high levels of business awareness and professional competence.
• IRCA certificated preferred
• TS16949 preferred
• AS9120, ISO45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 22301 preferred
• Global 8D trained and experienced preferred
• Experience of Quality management or EHS management (essential)
• Knowledge of AS9100 essential and AS13100 (desirable)
• Experience of Human Factors and Production Process Audits to VDA6.3 (desirable)
