Customer Relationship Manager

The Supply Chain function manages all customer contracts, forecasting, demand management, MRP processing and inventory planning activities across the business. The department has key interfaces with the Sales, Procurement, Operations and Finance departments and suppliers where required. This individual will manage the team for the specified account(s) to ensure the operational delivery of the services to these accounts is delivered, maintained and improved. Accountable for the effective management of the primary day-to-day contact and customer relationship for the account(s) to ensure customer service standards are delivered and overall customer satisfaction is maintained.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the day-to-day relationship management of the customer for the designated account(s), including the absorption and application of customer intelligence to support business development and governance of processes to ensure the agreed service standards are provided and customer satisfaction is regularly reviewed and improved.

• Drive customer collaboration with customers and team to improve forecasting input, sales budgeting and variance investigations to manage business planning and inventory holdings.

• Provide the point of issue escalation and guide the team to ensure that customer service corrective action plans or process improvements are deployed effectively without impacting customer service levels.

• Manage the capacity and capability planning within the team, to ensure the team have the required skills and abilities to meet the customer expectations

• Identify and implement Continuous Improvement actions to ensure opportunities to improve internal and external process/efficiencies are realised.

• Participation in improvement activities at department/company level to enhance business performance.

• Comply with all relevant internal rules, policy and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protection and all those contained within the issued Employee Handbook, Policies and Procedures Manual.

• Undertake other duties and tasks that may be allocated that are appropriate to the job.
